Around 55 friends from Indians in london communities are planning to go for an Isle of Wight Picnic on 30th Nov. A 55 seater luxury coach has also been hired. You are most welcome to join.

Asha, www.ashanet.org/london is a global, non-profit organisation aimed at improving the lives of underprivileged children in India. The great thing about it is that it is made up entirely of volunteers (there are no paid members) so all the money we raise (from fundraisers such as this) goes towards educational projects in India that we choose to support.

Last Two Years Diwali Parties were a huge success. This year's Diwali party (like the ones before) will basically be an evening of some great bollywood clubbing , amongst a chilled-out crowd, with some Diwali decoration and lots of enthusiasm to create that "Diwali" spirit! As an extra, we are having some (nice and cheesy) bollywood and bhangra lessons to kickstart the evening.

If you are late, well, no worries but you will miss out on some info regarding the weekend like rules, activities etc. You can ask your team mates what you missed if that situation arises. Also, the teams will declare who their captains are.

The weekend will comprise of team based activities, all of which will be competitive aiming towards ONE team winning at the end of it all.

The event comes to an end on the 24th evening, which is a Sunday. that is obviously when the house mates will vote for their favorite house mate, and the person with most votes will win and get whatever is leftover of the collected grocery money . The winning team, based on which team has most points will be declared. don't ask what that team will get coz there is nothing to give them.unless you want to kindly donate a prize urself!
