Note from Debu: well guys .. I must mention it before hand that if we intend to meet and have masti together..then there is no place for late comers at all ..as if you wanna get near the stage then one needs to be there by 2:45 PM or you end up standing after 40K ppl so we must be there by 2:45 PM as the program will start at sharp 4 PM and last year every inch of trafalgar was packed.

Fireworks: need 1 more volunteer as there will be a lot of patake and only 2 people will NOT be able to carry them. If not, then we'll cancel or bring less. The more volunteers the better.

Charity: We are kick starting our charity on dussehra with the first contributions of £10 per person coming in that day.

Also, everyone will have to chip in for fireworks so please bring enough cash (Minimum £5/head).

The UK’s most colourful and entertaining event returns this summer to London! - The whole of London will be unable to resist the temptation of making their way to Gunnersbury Park, W3 on Sunday 13th August 2006 from 12pm to 9:30pm for the much anticipated London Mela Entertainment acts have travelled from across the globe to join in the celebrations including Pakistan’s Atif Aslam, making his first UK appearance is Pascal of Bollywood, a Frenchman who went to Bollywood and came back a singing sensation, and Chirag Pechchan who will perform with Amarjit Sidhu and Mangal Singh. Other acts include Ajay, Hard Kaur, Menis Nazza and Brit Asia duo, Bobby and Nihal from Radio 1. Community activities and information will mix together with sports events, family fun, interactive workshops and storytelling with Kaleidoscope Project and bazaars.

The London Mela – one of Europe’s largest South Asian outdoor festivals – is a highlight of the capital’s cultural calendar. Established as the largest celebration of South Asian culture in Britain, with more than 75,000 people expected to attend, the London Mela is a lively and colourful one-day extravaganza, boasting dance, music, circus, comedy, art, street theatre and food from the Indian subcontinent.With ten zones, six stages and 450 artists spread across 30 acres, the Mela promises entertainment for everyone. Performances by established players will be complimented by local people taking part on the popular Community stage.

05th Aug 2006 - Fruitstock Event - Suggested by Teena. Check out http://www.fruitstock.co.uk Hello We're innocent and we'd like to invite you to Fruitstock. It's a free festival that we put on. This year it's happening on 5th - 6th August in Regent's Park, London.There's live music (Arrested Development, Norman Jay, Nouvelle Vague, AIM, Breaks Co-Op and The London Community Gospel Choir). Plus lots of posh food and drink, a big farmers' market, a flirting tent, open air yoga, knitting corner, sunshine and maybe even a smoothie or two. And there's a boatload of stuff for kids to do.So we'd love you to come along. Old, young, hairy, clean shaven. Bring your friends too!P.S. A friend of mine is going for perform on Drums on sunday afternoon. i'm going to be there. if anyone is going to be there and would like to meet up... do let me know.
